In this video by Coolhunting, food scientist and Molecular Gastronomist Herve This gives a cooking demonstration and provides some advice on eating: “If you have a poor sandwich with very good friends it’s always good, and a very good meal with awful people is not good. I had it. It is not good.” That said, I’ll stick to having very good sandwiches with very good people. (via Coolhunting)
Alvaro Cassinelli and Daito Manabe teamed up to create this laser tracking project. Alvaro had the initial design concept and Daito did the sound development end. The system tracks objects (whether physical or simply drawn) within its field of vision and the laser will obey boundaries and borders as it bounces around. Screw Tamagotchi, this looks like a much more interesting virtual pet (assuming, of course, that they add a volume control for it).
