Casimir Nozkowski made this short film about sports card collectors in a shop in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. I collected baseball cards as a kid, and it’s amazing to see how much things have changed since I stopped. It’s like the card companies at some point found their perfect demographic and just followed them as they grew up. The idea of paying $500 a pack would never have even entered my mind (and probably still wouldn’t).
